PART II
SCHOOL COUNCILS

Purpose

2. (1) The purpose of school councils is, through the active participation of parents, to improve pupil achievement and to enhance the accountability of the education system to parents.  O. Reg. 612/00, s. 2 (1).

(2) A school council’s primary means of achieving its purpose is by making recommendations in accordance with this Regulation to the principal of the school and the board that established the council.  O. Reg. 612/00, s. 2 (2).

Parent Lending Library

Welcome to the St. Eugene CSPC Parent Lending Library Check Out.

Lending/Returning Rules:

Books can be sent home or picked up on the 1st and 15th of the month only, 

(if the day falls on a weekend, it will be ready the Friday before or Monday after).

1. Maximum number of book(s) that can be checked out at the same time by one parent is two.

2. Book(s) are lent out for a maximum of 30 days and must be returned to the school on the due date.

3. The book(s) will go home with the child or picked up at the school by the parent during school hours. Please indicate your choice on the form. 

4. All book(s) must be returned in the same condition that they were checked out. Any books that are damaged (ripped, torn, stained, etc.) or lost, will have to be replaced by the parent at the current cost of the book. 

5. All information is kept confidential and is not shared with anyone outside of the Parent Council Executive and the school admin for the purposes of facilitating the lending and retrieval of the book(s).
